The European Union is concerned about the loss of people in the zone of Karabakh confrontation
Skirmishes at the contact line and cases of people's death in the zone of Karabakh confrontation cause a serious concern of the European Union, EU National report of development of "The European Neighbourhood Policy" in Armenia upon the results of 2010 runs.
Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that Stefan Fule, European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy, on May, 2, during his visit to Armenia expressed his concern about cases of violation of cease-fire regime in the area of Karabakh confrontation. In May servicemen and civilians from both parties perished at the contact line.
At the same time, it is stated in the EU report that negotiations on peaceful solution of Nagorno-Karabakh confrontation are going on at a high level, "Armenpress" reports.
"A certain progress was registered, especially in the sphere of war prisoners exchange, as a sign of trust towards encouragement of further progress, "Novosti-Armenia" quotes the EU report.
