A bass guitarist from Grozny "Dead Dolphins" band killed in Moscow

A member of a rock group "Dead Dolphins" from Grozny Alexander Ponomarev was shot down in Moscow tonight. 

According to a representative of district Department of Interior Affairs, the murder took place at 01:50, near the front door of house No 19 in Polikarpov street. 

"The man born in 1979 drove up to his house and was about to enter it. At this moment some strangers came up to him and fired several times", a source quoted by RIA "Novosti" reported. 

A source in law enforcement bodies specified later that the victim was a thirty-two-years-old bass guitarist from a Chechen rock group "Dead Dolphins" Alexander Ponomarev, "Interfax reports. 

Note: the first concert of the "Dead Dolphins" rock group took place in September, 1996, in Nazran. After participation in the festival "Nashestvie" ("Inroad") in 2001, 2003 and 2004 the group became famous. Their song "In my Moon" had taken leading positions in many charts of various broadcasting stations for a long time.
