Dudieva: poet Dzhigkaev was killed for his poem
Susanna Dudieva, leader of the "Beslan Mothers", has moved a version that the murder of the National Poet of North Ossetia-Alania Shamil Dzhigkaev was caused by his poem critical of pilgrims from Chechnya and Ingushetia. However, the Ingush authorities called on not to make hasty conclusions.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 26 near the village of Redant, Prigorodny District, the body of Shamil Dzhigkaev, a famous poet and the Dean of the Department of Ossetian Philology of the North-Ossetian State University, was found.
Let us remind you that three years ago Shamil Dzhigkaev, as evidenced by the "Kommersant" newspaper, wrote a poem about the alleged blasphemous actions of pilgrims from Chechnya and Ingushetia, who were on their pilgrimage to Mecca. The officers from the administration of the Pravoberezhny District of North Ossetia-Alania asserted that the pilgrims got out of the buses to urinate near the cemetery, where the victims of Beslan tragedy were buried.
After that incident Shamil Dzhigkaev wrote his poem "Wolf Cubs Go to Hajj".
"After he published the poem about the blasphemy committed at our cemetery, the Ingush sites posted threats to cut off his head - I'm inclined to think that the thugs have realized those threats," Susanna Dudieva, leader of the "Beslan Mothers" Association of Victims of Terror Acts, said in her interview with the "Kommersant".
Pilgrims themselves assert that they stopped at the cemetery to pray. According to Abdullah M., who was present at the event described by the poet, the bus stopped not in the cemetery, but not far from it to let the pilgrims make their namaz.
"As it should be, before the prayer, it was necessary to make ablution. Pilgrims made nothing bad, but boys started throwing stones at us. Then, many of us stopped the prayer. We boarded the bus and continued our," the source told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
"There's no reason to make early conclusions about the incident," Timur Bokov, press secretary of the head of the Republic of Ingushetia, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
"The neighbouring regions are in complicated relationships without that; and statements like the one made by the leader of 'Beslan Mothers' are not conducive to peace and accord," said Timur Bokov.
Akhmed Kotiev, Chairman of the Security Council of Ingushetia, has treated the statement that pilgrims could urinate near the cemetery, where children are buried, as "absolutely absurd".
Solution of Shamil Dzhigkaev's murder is the matter of honour of law enforcement bodies, said Taimuraz Mamsurov, head of North Ossetia-Alania, while opening in Vladikavkaz a sitting of the board for social and economic security.
"A well-known person, a personal friend of many of us, was assassinated in the most savage way. This is something that can't be ever forgiven or forgotten. This is a wild crime, both in form and the manner it was committed; those who did it can't remain among people," Mr Mamsurov has stressed.
According to his story, it is necessary not only to find the perpetrators, but also "to show the families, where they grew up, to the public."
