Frontier Troops Major lost in Dagestan
According to updated information, a Major of the Frontier Department for Dagestan of the Russian FSB was lost in the armed clash, which occurred on May 12 in the Tsumandin District of Dagestan. This was announced by the press service of the Dagestani MIA.
The armed skirmish occurred at 7:00 p.m. near the village of Echeda, where employees of the MIA, soldiers of Interior Troops and Frontier Department conducted their operative-search actions within a counterterrorist operation.
In the course of the fight the officer was shot in his chest and soon died, the "Interfax" reports.
