Federal Center is dissatisfied with actions of Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs
There are "grate claims" to the actions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Chechen Republic. It was announced yesterday in Grozny by the Deputy Head of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Mikhail Pankov at the introduction of a new Chechen Minister of Internal Affairs by the Deputy Head of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Mikhail Pankov.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Chechnya make "insufficient efforts mainly in the matters of providing safety of the republican population, public order maintenance, delinquency fighting", Pankov noted and underlined "the quality of work needed to be improved". Particularly serious claims were raised by the deputy head of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs to the heads of the regional departments of Grozny, where grate number of acts of terrorism and sabotage, underminings, and fires take place. The similar claims were raised by him to the governing bodies of the Kurchaloy and Vedensk Regional Internal Affairs Departments. According to his appraisal, "the tendency of situation worsening in Urus-Martan, Achkhoy-Martan and Grozny Rural Departments is looked though".
Pankov wished new head of the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs Ali Alkhanov "to grasp the situation properly, to enter the position as quickly as possible, as there is no time to get into the swing".
