Moscow Court extends detention of suspect of murdering football fan Sviridov
The Presnya Court of Moscow has extended - until July 6 - the custody of Aslan Cherkesov, a resident of Kabardino-Balkaria, accused of murdering in Moscow Yegor Sviridov, a fan of the "Spartak" FC. This was announced today by Olga Sutyapova, press secretary of the court.
On January 31, the same court extended Aslan Cherkesov's custody till May 6, and on May 3 another extension followed - till June 6.
"The court has satisfied the investigators' petition to prolong Cherkesov's custody for another month, that is, till July 6," said Sutyapova, as quoted by the Russian News Agency for Legal and Judicial Information (known as "RAPSI").
