A disabled man in Armenia started a hunger strike near the Embassy of France

Yesterday, May, 18, disabled Samvel Mikaelyan started an open-ended hunger strike near the Embassy of France in Armenia. The participant of the war in Nagorno-Karabakh is indignant with the fact that his social and domestic problems have not yet been solved.

Earlier, the fifty-four-year-old Samvel Mikaelyan had a personal meeting with Seiran Oganyan, Minister of Defense of Armenia, and told him about his problems, however, according to him, nobody has solved them as a result.

Mikhaelyan has no dwelling of his own, he is registered and has been living in his friend's house in the quarter of "Uisi avan" for rater a long time, "Armenia Today" reports.

Mikhaelyan declared that he was going to spend the nights on one of the benches in front of the Embassy as a sign of protest.

The disabled war veteran wants a personal meeting with the Ambassador of France in Armenia in order to ask him for help in immigration to that country because he thinks that "the authorities in France love their citizens and take care of them".
