The Georgian opposition reports detention of an ex-deputy in Kutaisi

Gogi Tsulaya, ex-deputy of the Georgian Parliament, Chairman of regional organization of oppositional movement "Free Georgia", was detained in Kutaisi, Press service of the movement reports. 

Participants of the movement "Free Georgia" estimate Tsulaya's detention as an "act of repression". 

The ex-deputy was detained after his briefing where he criticized the authorities, "Novosti Georgia" reports.

The major point of Gogi Tsulaya's criticism was the detention of the activists of the People's Assembly. Tsulaya has been taken to a temporary isolation ward, "Georgia Online" reports.

Law enforcement bodies of Georgia have not commented on the case yet.
