22 persons perished last week in armed conflict in Northern Caucasus
During the week of May 2-8, the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus took away at least 22 human lives; at least 18 persons were injured. These are the results of the calculations made by the "Caucasian Knot", based on its own materials and information from other open sources.
The list of casualties includes 13 suspected members of the armed underground, six power agents and three civilians. Eleven power agents and five civilians were wounded. 14 people perished in Dagestan, four in Chechnya, one in Kabardino-Balkaria, one in Astrakhan, and two more in France. 12 people were injured in Dagestan, five in Chechnya and one in Moscow.
The week saw one explosion, eleven armed clashes, two attempts on power agents, and three attempts on civilians.
