Yerevan hosts action in support of political prisoners

On May 13, a rally, attended by relatives and associates of prisoners, was held near the General Prosecutor's Office of Armenia with a demand to release political prisoners.

The participants of the action assured that they would keep coming and holding actions until the last prisoner was released.

Now, Armenian prisons keep six opposition activists. In the course of the action held on May 13, the protesters handed a letter over to the prosecutor's office with a demand to immediately release political prisoners.

They wrote such letters before; however, so far they have received no answer from prosecutors, the "Armenia Today" reports.
