Figurants in the "Domodedovo" attack case evidence in place
In the course of the investigatory action held at the "Domodedovo" Airport, Evloev and Idriev, detainees in the case about the January 29 terror act, told in place what they knew about preparation of the explosion. The work of the airport was suspended for an hour; all the main entrances and exits were blocked.
Let us remind you that the terror act committed on January 24 in Moscow's "Domodedovo" Airport, which killed 37 persons, was the largest terror act (by the number of casualties) among those ever committed at airports around the world. It was committed, as the investigation has established, by a suicide bomber - Magomed Evloev, 20, a resident of the village of Ali-Yurt, Nazran District of Ingushetia. Dokku Umarov, the leader of North-Caucasian militants took responsibility for organizing the terror act.
After the two detainees - Islam Evloev, 23, brother of the suicide bomber Magomed Evloev, and his friend Idriev - were brought to the airport, power agents cordoned off the main lobby and stood along the perimeter.
According to a source from security forces, Evloev and Idriev confirmed their previous confessions. Thus, according to Evloev, he knew nothing about the prepared explosion, although he knew that Magomed had contacts with militants, the "Life News" reports.
Idriev confessed to investigators that he took part in preparing the terror act told step by step about his actions. Thus, it was Idriev who came to "Domodedovo" Airport for reconnaissance, examined the building, metal detectors, and watched the guards, trying to find out how thoroughly they inspected people.
According to his story, several days before the terror act Magomed Evloev arrived in Moscow by bus from Ingushetia; he was met and taken to a hotel near the airport. The belt with explosive stuffed with striking elements was delivered to Moscow separately; its weight was about 2.5 kg.
