OMON company deputy commander killed in Dagestan
On May 8, in the village of Shamkhal, Kirov District of Makhachkala, an unidentified person made several pistol shots at Asvad Abdullaev, deputy commander of OMON (riot police) company No. 1 for the Republic of Dagestan (RD), who was at that moment in the yard of his house. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of the RD.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the policeman died on the spot from the gunshot wounds of his chest and head.
The criminal investigation continues, as the RIA "Dagestan" reports with reference to the press service of the Investigatory Committee of the RD.
The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that today in the city of Izberbash unidentified persons shot dead - in the course of as brief skirmish - the head of the criminal police for the Kayakent District and an employee of the Izberbash OVD (Interior Division).
