Resident of Ingushetia killed in special operation in Grozny identified
The suspected member of the armed underground, who was killed on May 6 in the Zavodskoy District of the capital of Chechnya, was identified as Muslim Agiev, 26, a native of Ingushetia, the local police reports.
A source from law enforcement bodies of Chechnya told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent the details of the May 6 special operation in the outskirts of Grozny.
"An armed gunman was blocked in an apartment of the house No. 5 in Guryanov Street in the village of Chernorechye of the Zavodskoy District. When offered to surrender, the bandit opened fire. He was killed in the skirmish by power agents," said an officer from the Chechen MIA.
A Kalashnikov, two hand grenades and a traumatic pistol adapted for fire with live ammunition were found on the casualty. Besides, operative agents found his passport and the military ID card in the apartment.
