Armenia and Azerbaijan intend to discuss the issue of increased concentration of snipers on the contact line of the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan and other topical problems during the visit on May 9-13 to Southern Caucasus of Petros Efthimiou, head of the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE.

"The Parliament of Azerbaijan will raise the problem of increased concentration of Armenian snipers on the contact line before the head of the PA OSCE," Bakhar Muradova, Vice-Speaker of the Milli Majlis, told journalists on May 6.

"The members of the Armenian delegation to the PA OSCE will raise a number of topical issues, including safety issues at the contact line, as well as the tense situation created because of activation of the Azerbaijani party," said Aram Safaryan, head of the Armenian delegation to the PA OSCE.

The Armenian party intends to ensure that the Minsk Group of the OSCE indicate, in its monitoring reports and statements, the particular party guilty of breaking the ceasefire.
