Three women detained in Dagestan at attempt to sell a baby

On April 22, law enforcers of Dagestan and Chechnya conducted an operation and detained three female residents of Khasavyurt who tried to sell a newborn baby.

Ads reported by the press service of the Dagestani MIA, "at about 6:00 p.m., when receiving 500,000 roubles from 'the buyer' for a newborn baby, three residents of Khasavyurt, born in 1951, 1961 and 1970, were detained."

A criminal case was initiated under Article 127, part 2 (trafficking in persons), the "Interfax" reports.
