In Dagestan, schoolgirl convicted conditionally for reporting about terror act during "direct line" with Putin
A verdict of guilty has been passed to a schoolgirl: on December 14, 2010, a 16-year-old pupil called the office of the programme "Conversation with Vladimir Putin" and reported to the operator knowingly false information about an impending terror act in the Moscow Region, said the spokesman of the Dagestani Prosecutor's Office.
Local law enforcers managed to quickly identify the girl; and the Kurakh ROVD (District Interior Division) instituted criminal proceedings under Article 207 of the Criminal Code (knowingly false report about a terror act).
On March 16, by the verdict of the Suleiman-Stalskiy District Court the schoolgirl was found guilty of committing the crime and sentenced to conditional imprisonment for the term of one year and a one-year probation term, the "Rosbalt" reports.
Today the verdict has come into force.
