Operative agents confiscated 5 kg explosives from a detained man in Moscow
On May, 4, during search in a suspected man's flat the personnel of law enforcement bodies confiscated a trotyl block of 200 gram weight, about five kilogram explosive on basis of cyclonite, a detonating cord, 15 mobiles, four passports, two portable radio transmitters and different seals and warrants on driving vehicles, law enforcement bodies of the capital reported.
The detention took place in the context of the explosions that happened in Moscow and other Russian cities and towns which the "Caucasian Knot" reported earlier. The last episode of this kind was registered on May, 3, when a policeman got wounded as a result of an explosion near "Tsentranly" ("Central") Department of Interior Affairs of Moscow.
The operative agents are currently working to find out whether the resident of Moscow detained the day before, suspected of involvement in delivery of explosives to Moscow region, had been in contact with any terrorist or extremist organizations, "Interfax" referring to a source in law enforcement bodies reports.
