KBR: suspected militant blows himself up at detention
In the evening on April 29, Ruslan Dolov, a resident of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), suspected of involvement in IAFs (illegal armed formations), triggered a grenade in his car, when power agents tried to detain him.
"At about 9:00 p.m. in the outskirt of the village of Chornaya Rechka, Urvan District of Kabardino-Balkaria, law enforcers blocked a VAZ-2107 car driven by Ruslan Dolov, a 22-year-old resident of Nalchik," said an employee of the Investigatory Department for the KBR of the ICRF (Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation).
According to his story, during detention the driver tried to render armed resistance to power agents, but was killed by explosion of his own grenade. "When examining the exploded car, agents found a grenade fuse," said the source.
According to his story, Dolov was accounted by operative agents as a suspect linked with IAF members, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
