Three officers of the Ministry of Interior Affairs wounded in the South of Chechnya

Three officers of the republican law enforcement bodies got wounded on May, 1, at about 17:30, during operational search actions in the mountainous and wooded area near the settlement of Eshelkhatoy, Vedeno district.

The officers got wounded as a result of blasting of an explosive device of an unidentified type. The injured men were hospitalized with mine explosion wounds. 

The personnel of law enforcement bodies is carrying out search of participants of armed underground, their bases and hiding places in mountainous and foothill districts of Chechnya. 

"Operational search actions of this kind and special operations for search and neutralization of paramilitary groups (PMG) are carried out by the personnel of law enforcement bodies practically round the clock. Besides, operational search actions are done not only in the mountainous areas but also in the flat country of the republic, towns and villages", the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told in the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Chechnya.
