Moscow extends arrest of "The Other Russia" activist accused of Manege Square disorders
Today, the Presnya Court of Moscow has extended till June 13 the arrest of Igor Berezyuk, an activist of "The Other Russia", accused under the case of mass riots in Manege Square in Moscow in December 2010.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Igor Berezyuk, along with other activists of "The Other Russia" Kirill Unchuk and Ruslan Khubaev, had been arrested on charges of taking part in events at Manege Square last December.
On April 22, the Moscow City Court dismissed the decision of the Presnya Court of Moscow to extend Berezyuk's arrest and sent the case for a new consideration, the "Gazeta.Ru" writes.
The human rights organization "Union of Solidarity with Political Prisoners" has put Messrs Berezyuk, Unchuk and Khubaev on the list of political prisoners.
