The investigation brought forward three versions of explosions in Volgograd
Law enforcement bodies are currently regarding several versions of the explosions that took place in Volgograd on April, 26, among them: an attempt of terror, destabilization of the situation on the threshold of Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's arrival at the region and dissatisfaction with the forthcoming dismissals in interior affairs bodies.
Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that two explosions happened on April, 26, in Volgograd: one bomb was activated near the gate of municipal Department of State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, the other one near the gym of the Academy of the Ministry of Interior Affairs. The second bomb exploded during mine clearing. There were no victims of the explosions but they resulted in damages.
The investigation does not rule out that both explosive devices could have been manufactured by the same persons for according to preliminary data, both devices contained ammonium nitrate and aluminic powder, besides both were stuffed with damage agents, "Interfax-Yug" reports.
