Public prosecutor's office accuses Mayor's office of the town of Shakhti of illegal refusal of registration of the veterans needing dwelling

Mayor's Office of the town of Shakhti refused registration of seven veterans of the Great Patriotic War as persons needing improvement of dwelling conditions. During the prosecutor's inspection it was found out that the veterans were living in houses practically with no necessary facilities. 

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that residents of the town had appealed to President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev and Governor of the region Vasily Golubev reporting mass infringements in housing and utilities sphere by Mayor's office as well as tense social atmosphere and criminogenic situation in Shakhti. 

In connections with discovered infringements municipal Public prosecutor's office issued a notion to the Mayor and appealed against illegal instruction of Mayor's office refusing registration of the veterans. 

The court of the town of Shakhti, Rostov region, brought in a judgment acknowledging the decisions of municipal administration refusing registration of seven veterans of the Great Patriotic War illegal and fully accepted the claims of Public prosecutor's office, web-site of Prosecutor General's of the Russian Federation reports.
