The "Caucasian Knot" posts its readers' SMS-messages on its forum

 

The Internet medium "Caucasian Knot" begins publishing SMS-messages received from its readers by means of its SMS-service, in a special section of its Forum.

The reports received from local residents will be published in a special section of the "Caucasian Knot" 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

The "Caucasian Knot" will post messages from the people who have witnessed an important event, an emergency, either natural or manmade. Of special value will be reports about a committed or prepared crime, human rights violations and corruption.

The information received by means of the SMS-service has already initiated a series of investigations conducted by journalists of the "Caucasian Knot". In particular, Patu Abdullaeva, a resident of Dagestan, reported in her SMS-message to the "Caucasian Knot" about bribery in local hospitals; while Inara Gabaraeva, head of the committee of fire victims of South Ossetia used the SMS-service to alert the public about threats addressed to her. The "Caucasian Knot" continues monitor the progress with these complaints.
