Figurant in Manege Square riots sentenced to conditional imprisonment

In Moscow, the court has sentenced a Muscovite Vladislav Khakhanov to a conditional term for participation in the pogroms in Manege Square on December 11, 2010. For beating in the metro a man of non-Slavic appearance he was sentenced to conditional imprisonment for a term of six months with one-year probation.

According to the investigation, on December 11, 2010, after the disorders in Manege Square, Vladislav Khakhanov, 25, a resident of Moscow, while in the metro car in the section between the stations of Bagrationovskaya and Fili of the Fili line, beat a 35-year-old man "on the motive of ethnic hatred". In the process of beating his victim, Khakhanov used the offensive language.

The court found Khakhanov guilty under the article of "beatings", the RIA "Novosti" reports.
