NAC: one of the gunmen killed in Chechnya was an emissary of "al-Qaeda" in Northern Caucasus

National Anti-Terrorist Committee reports that one of the people killed during a special operation in Chechnya was an Arab hireling, chief emissary of "al-Qaeda" under the alias "Moganned". The other killed person was identified as resident of Grozny by name of Sultygov.  

It should be reminded that according to the information from members of power ministries, two supposed gunmen were killed during a special operation on April, 21, in a mountainous and wooded area to the East of the settlement of Serzhen-Yurt, Shali district of Chechnya. 

"One of the killed gangsters was identified as chief emissary of international terrorist organization "al-Qaeda", native of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the alias "Moganned", "Interfax" quotes a report of the Informational center of NAC. 

According to a source in law enforcement bodies of the republic, during operational search actions militia personnel discovered a group of gunmen who put up armed resistance. The source reported the names of those killed: Khaled Yusef Muhamed Al-Emirat born in 1969, citizen of Jordan, and Sultygov born in 1986, resident of Grozny. 

According to the source, officers of investigative operational group under the guidance of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Chechnya impounded a Kalashnikov without a registration number from the scene of the incident, RIA "Novosti" reports.
