Stavropol Territory: policeman blows himself up with grenade
The death of a policeman, whose body was found today in an agricultural field in the Levokumsk District, Stavropol Territory, is being investigated.
On April 18, in an agricultural field in the 1st km of the highway "Levokumskoe-Turksad", a body with explosive injuries was found belonging to an inspector of the separate platoon of the patrol-and-post service of the Levokumsk ROVD (District Interior Division).
According to preliminary information, the policeman, while being outside his office hours, committed suicide by triggering an F-1 grenade; this is reported by the Investigatory Department for the Stavropol Territory of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).
