Stavropol Territory: local woman convicted for false reports about terror acts

The Petrovskiy District Court of the Stavropol Territory has sentenced a woman-resident of Svetlograd to 1.5 years of conditional imprisonment for false reports about impending explosions.

According to the regional prosecutor's office, in the Region, on January 25 the woman, while being drunk, called the ROVD (District Interior Division) and reported about a possible terror act in Svetlograd.

"Three minutes later she again called the Petrovskiy ROVD and added that on January 26 armed terrorists will go from Budyonnovsk to Stavropol aiming to commit terror acts," the "Interfax" quotes the press service of the prosecutor's office.
