Director of the boarding school of Tsimlyansk suspected of negligence
The suspicion of negligence has become the reason for starting criminal proceedings against the director of a boarding school in Rostov region where three inmates got poisoned.
According to the investigation's version, the director of the boarding school had not secured mandatory measures for protecting the lives and health of the inmates of the educational institution headed by her and as a result three pupils of the fifth form smoked a cigarette the tobacco of which had contained an unidentified substance received by means of squashing some light-blue berries and mixing it with tobacco in the school territory.
After smoking the cigarette on April, 7, 2011, all the three under age inmates were hospitalized with the diagnosis "poisoning by an unidentified substance". One of the children died in the morning of April, 11, 2011.
