Missing native of Krasnodar Territory sought as possible suicide bomber

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, a Moscow student Ibragim Torshkhoev, a native of Krasnodar, who disappeared a few months ago and is now sought by relatives and law enforcement bodies, is considered, according to unofficial data, a possible suicide bomber.

Internet-based media have spread information, with reference to sources in law enforcement bodies, that a supposed terrorist, trained in the suicide bombers' camp, was announced into search in the south of Russia. Ibragim Torshkhoev, 19, a native of the city of Armavir, Krasnodar Territory, according to their data, about 4 months ago began professing the radical branch of Islam, joined extremists-radicals, where he was trained; and two months ago he left home; and until now nobody knows about his whereabouts.

Intelligence agencies suggest that Torshkhoev is ready to go to Moscow with the aim to commit terror acts: According to their version, Torshkhoev was specially trained for committing terror acts and suicide bombings in crowded places, and can act as an organizer, partner, or even a suicide bomber. Briefings with his description have been spread among law enforcement authorities of the Krasnodar Territory, and Astrakhan and Rostov Regions, the "Life News" reports. At this point, according to the source, the search is conducted only in southern Russia: security officials believe that Torshkhoev could not reach the central part of the country yet.

However, Torshkhoev's relatives assert that Ibragim disappeared in Moscow, where people saw him last time.

According to relatives, on October 15 last year the young man left home and never returned; he had his documents on him - the civil and foreign passports and his driver's license. "We filed applications to the militia, contacted his friends, make printouts of calls from his mobile phone. But no one knows anything about him," his relatives note.

So far, the official spokespersons of the law enforcement bodies of the Krasnodar Territory have neither confirmed nor commented this information. The official websites of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), FSB, NAC (National Antiterrorist Committee) and the ICRF (Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation) present no information about the search of Torshkhoev.

People at the sports school of Armavir, who know Torshkhoev very well, do not believe in his involvement with terrorists.
