Resident of Chechnya, suspected of murdering football fan on Yegor Sviridov's funeral day, detained
On April 5 in Moscow, an 18-year-old resident of Chechnya suspected of killing Pavel Kazakov, 19, a football fan on December 10, 2010. On that day Moscow saw funeral of Yegor Sviridov, a fan of the Moscow "Spartak" Football Club, killed in a fight with residents of Northern Caucasus.
According to investigators, on December 10, 2010, at about 5:00 p.m., at the Volzhskaya metro station, a conflict burst out between Pavel Kazakov and an unidentified man, who fatally stabbed Kazakov, who later died in hospital.
On April 5, on suspicion of committing this crime, Zagaev, 18, a resident of Chechnya, a student of a Moscow construction hospital was detained in Shkulyov Street. As established by investigators, he had a conflict with Kazakov, during which Zagaev struck the Muscovite with his fist on his face several times, and then started knifing him, the "Rosbalt" reports.
