Petersburg "Zenit" team fined for its fan's insult to team captain of "Anzhi", Makhachkala

Control Disciplinary Committee (CDC) of the Russian Football Union fined Petersburg "Zenit" club to 300 thousand rubles in connection with an incident with Brazilian Roberto Carlos, captain of "Anzhi" team, to whom one of "Zenit's" fans offered a peeled banana before the match on March, 21.    

"Zenit" will pay off the fine imposed by CDC of the Russian Football Union in the nearest future, the club's Press service reported. "We have been fined and we will pay off", an official of Press service said but refused to provide any further comments concerning the matter, "Interfax" reports. 

This is the exact substantiation of the decision of the fine brought in yesterday, April, 6: "For insulting a person by the team's fan on the grounds of ethnicity, coloration and also non-observance of public order at the stadium", ITAR-TASS reports. 

It should be mentioned that security service of "Zenit" club has identified the guilty fan's personality. He will be deprived of the right to buy tickets and season tickets to "Zenit" matches lifelong, "Vesti.ru" reports.
