European School session held in Stavropol
The spring session of the European School was held in Stavropol from March 31 to April 2 with participation of activists from the republics of Northern Caucasus, Volgograd and Rostov Regions, and Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories.
"The selection was very tough: we had more than 100 applications for 30 places; the preference was given to talented students, proficient in English," Ekaterina Kuznetsova, an expert on European integration, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
"The project focuses on personality development of young people; it gives an opportunity for experts and students to participate - on equal terms - in debates on global economic and political problems, including those related to the Caucasus."
Experts from Poland, Hungary and Greece were lecturers, while Fernando Valenzuela, Ambassador of the European Union, visited the European School as a guest.
