Suspect of murdering a boxer in North Ossetia pleads guilty

As reported by Sergey Khamitsaev, the investigator running the case, Soslan Abaev, suspected of murdering Khetag Kozaev, a youth world champion in boxing, made a confession.

Earlier Abaev denied his guilt and refused to testify. "At initial interrogations Abaev refused to evidence, but later he pled guilty. He told about all the circumstances of the crime and is now cooperating with the investigation," said Khamitsaev.

He added that, according to the detainee's testimony, the motive of the murder was in hostile personal relationships between him and the boxer, the "Interfax" reports.

Khetag Kozaev was killed at night on June 13, 2010, in one of the clubs of the capital of North Ossetia by several shots from a traumatic pistol.
