A book about tortures and kidnapping in Chechnya will be published in England

A book on kidnapping in Chechen Republic and the lives of kidnapped people's relatives and families of victims of tortures is going to be published in England. Its author is Mantas Kvedaravichius, Lithuanian producer who has shot the documentary "Barzakh".

"I am an anthropologist and so I am writing about tortures and their correlation with state authority and human emotions, - Mantas Kvedaravichius said to "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. - This book is being prepared for publishing in England, Cambridge University. Its theme is tortures. It will be presented in the light of the events going on in the Russian Federation".
