A resident of Stavropol region reports impossibility of leaving the settlement of Gubden in Dagestan because of its blockade

This morning the settlement of Gubden, Karabudakhkent district, was totally blocked by law enforcement officers, entry and departure from the settlement are under complete ban. A reporter of “Caucasian Knot” received this news from Gaji Khalilibragimov, resident of Stavropol, who is in the blocked settlement at the moment.

“The whole settlement is packed with the srongmen, they have prohibited the residents to come out. I am just standing here and have no idea what to do”, our interlocutor said to a reporter of “Caucasian Knot”.

He also said that he had got through to Public prosecutor’s office of Dagestan but the officials asked him to come personally to Makachkala for a talk. Khalilibragimov did not rule out that he would take legal action in the future. “Why should I bear discomfort because of any security officials’ operations? Why do they not explain us what the matter is?”, Khalilibragimov asks.

There have been no official comments from the power ministries yet.
