Two suspected militants liquidated in Makhachkala
In the course of a special operation in Repin Street in the centre of the capital of Dagestan, two persons blocked in a house were shot dead. According to power agents, they refused to negotiate and opened fire.
According to a source from law enforcement bodies of the republic, the militants from the Makhachkala subversive and terrorist grouping were blocked in the house. The skirmish started at 5:20 p.m., the "Interfax" reports.
"One of the militants was liquidated in the house, while the second one tried to break through the cordon but was also shot dead," said the source.
Both casualties have been identified, but the data is not disclosed. Power agents are searching the house, where the militants were blocked, the RIA "Dagestan" reports.
