Suspect of spreading rumours about planted bombs detained in North Ossetia

Law enforcers of Vladikavkaz have detained a suspect who distributed false reports about mining through the Internet.

This detention conducted in the capital of North Ossetia of an alleged distributor of reports with explosion threats was reported by the press office of the UVD (Interior Department) of the Omsk Region, where in February-March letters were sent to email addresses of the UVD and educational institutions with willingly false reports about bombs planted at higher schools, shopping malls, marketplaces and vehicle salons.

Each of the messages was reacted to by UVD employees and other agents: the objects were examined, and citizens were evacuated. No explosive devices or other items that could threaten the safety of people were found, the "Interfax" reports.
