Four militiamen wounded in the suburbs of Makhachkala
Last night some unidentified people fired upon militia personnel in the village of Semender, in the suburbs of Makhachkala, four militiamen got wounded, a representative of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Dagestan reported.
According to him, the incident took place at 01.00, March, 7, when the officers of the Department of Interior Affairs stopped a VAZ 217030 ("Priora") car for an inspection. Strangers inside the car opened fire at the militiamen from unidentified mode of firearms and escaped leaving their car behind.
The militiamen returned the fire. Four officers got injured in the skirmish.
During an inspection in the cabin of the car an IZH-78-7 traumatic pistol remade for firing with service cartridges, with a thread for a silencer, a magazine case with eight cartridges caliber 9, five mobiles, seven cartridge cases caliber 7,62 for a TT pistol, a magazine case for a TT pistol with cartridges caliber 7,62 millimeter were found and confiscated, RIA "Novosti" reports.
