Adygea holds rally in defence of civil rights

About 200 citizens of the republic, mainly Maikop residents, gathered to hold a rally in the central square of the city.

Let us remind you that the rally was organized by the Council of Workers of Maikop and by the Maikop City Committee of the CPRF (Communist Party of the Russian Federation).

People came to the rally with banners and slogans: "Set progressive tax on super-revenues", "Housing rates doom us to poverty", "Medvedev! Putin! Stop raising prices, it's high time to reduce them!"

The participants in the event commemorated all the perished defenders of the Homeland; laid flowers at the monument to Lenin in the square and congratulated from the tribune all the veterans of the armed forces and wars and young soldiers.

It is worth noting here that pensioners made the vast majority of the audience. "Either young residents of Adygea are not interested in politics, that is, in their future, or they are all satisfied in the current government," a pensioner Maria Khromal, one of the participants, shared her opinion.

The leaflets distributed on the eve of the rally and during the event, urged residents to boycott the party in power at elections in Adygea.
