Dagestan: shopkeeper shot dead, local residents report
According to one of local residents, an owner of the shop selling alcohol was assassinated in a suburb of Makhachkala; however, the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs did not confirm this information.
"Last night the shop was visited by armed persons in masks, who, without saying anything, shot the owner in the head. He died in place," Gadji Magomedov, a resident of Krasnoarmeyskoye settlement in Makhachkala, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent today.
The press service of the Dagestani MIA has stated that they know nothing about the incident.
Earlier, a source from the Dagestani MIA said that at night on Sunday, February 20, a grocery store was shelled in one of Dagestani villages; and, according to preliminary data, one person was injured.
