Jury finds Ryno and Skachevsky guilty of another murder

Today, jurymen passed a guilty verdict to neo-Nazis Arthur Ryno and Pavel Skachevsky, earlier already convicted for nationalism-based crimes and accused of another murder, said Dmitry Agranovsky, an advocate of one of the defendants.

Earlier, the Moscow City Court had satisfied the petition of nationalists Arthur Ryno and Pavel Skachevsky to have their criminal case tried by the jury.

Thus, Ryno and Skachevsky, who pled guilty, will be sentenced for the third time, the RAPSI (Russian Agency of Legal and Judicial Information) reports.

Since all the crimes had been committed by the defendants before their age of majority, and according to the Russian law, minors can not get more than 10 years in prison, on the first and second cases Ryno and Skachevsky were sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment, and this time the court may finally appoint only 10 years in prison, that is, there is no way to toughen the punishment, the Agency says.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 25, 2010, inspectors initiated a new case under the article of "murder" against Artur Ryno and Pavel Skachevsky. The materials of this case state that on April 4, 2007, the figurants caused "a fatal stab wound to a 40-year-old man, whom they took for a person of non-Slavic nationality."
