Egle Kusaite summoned from Lithuania to Moscow to Magmadovas' trial
The judge has satisfied the petition of the defence of Apti and Aishat Magmadova, accused of recruiting a citizen of Lithuania for committing a terror act in Moscow, to summon the key witnesses in the case, one of whom is Egle Kusaite. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about it by Tamara Magmadova, mother of Apti and Aishat.
"On February 14, another session of the court took place; the next one was appointed on March 15. The court plans to summon the key witnesses, although I think many persons wouldn't like to see them - Egle Kusaite and Khasan Avsigeraev," said Tamara Magmadova.
Now, the trial continues behind closed doors. "We have petitioned towards making the trial open, but they wouldn't agree, all the petitions are rejected," Ms Magmadova told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
