Female suicide bomber commits terror act in Dagestan, killing people

Tonight, an explosion was triggered near the township militia division in the Karabudakhkent District, Dagestan, and killed a soldier from the interior troops of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA); several more persons were wounded. According to the militia, the bomb was triggered by a female suicide bomber.

"At about 7:30 p.m. Moscow time, an explosion happened in the Dagestani village of Gubden, Karabudakhkent District of Dagestan. According to preliminary data, a woman was approaching the militia division; she had already passed the gate barrier and was coming to the building, when the on duty militiaman called out to her and asked to get back to the check point; then, she triggered her explosive device," said a source from the MIA.

According to preliminary reports, one person was killed, four others are in hospital. They are all interior soldiers, who were ensuring safety of the village militia station, the RIA "Novosti" reports with reference to the press officer of the local MIA.

The second today's explosion in Gubden took place at about 10:35 p.m. Moscow time near the local militia post. "There is no data about any casualties or victims, but shooting is head from the venue," the RIA "Novosti" quotes a source from the law enforcement bodies of the Karabudahkent District.

Let us remind you that also today in the course of a special operation in Dagestani Sulak village, located in the outskirts of Kizilyurt, an alleged member of illegal armed formations was liquidated - a local resident Zakir Agavov, born in 1985.
