Two suspects of murdering football fan Volkov to stay in custody for three months more

The Presnya Court of Moscow has extended till May 11 the custody of the two persons accused of murdering Yuri Volkov, a fan of the "Spartak" Football Club.

"The court has satisfied the inspectors' petition and extended the custody of Bekkhan Ibragimov and Ahmedpasha Aidaev for three months more," said Eduard Oganyan, advocate of one of the defendants.

He added that the term of the criminal investigation was also extended till May 11, the RAPSI reports.

Also today, Abusupyan Gaitaev, advocate of the accused Aidaev, said that one more figurant in the case and fight participant could be brought from Chechnya. He had pled guilty but was released. With his presence, investigators want to hold additional examinations on the murder of the football fan. Gaitaev has noted that investigators want to sample blood from the two defendants and Suleimanov and hold a DNA examination, the "Interfax" reports.
