Three explosions in Grozny within 24 hours
As a result of another blast that happened in the evening in the Oktiabrskiy District of the Chechen capital, three OMON (special-purpose militia) fighters were wounded. In total, three explosions that occurred in Grozny within 24 hours wounded five persons.
It was earlier reported about two explosions in the Leninskiy District of Grozny, where two persons were wounded.
One more explosion occurred in the Oktiabrskiy District of Grozny.
"The explosion was triggered, when an OMON unit of the Chechen MIA approached a four-story apartment house in Derbent Street aiming to check information about a militant hiding in one of the flats," said the spokesman of the regional department of the Investigatory Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation.
According to his story, an explosive device was supposedly planted among sacks of coal next to the barbecue, since a café is in the ground floor.
