An icicle fell down from a roof and killed a woman in Rostov region
On February, 7, an icicle fell down from the roof of a five-storey dwelling house upon a fifty-year-old woman. The retiree died on-site before the rescuers and the ambulance arrived.
In the Press service of the Department of prevention and elimination of emergency situations a reporter of "Caucasian Knot" was told that the news of the accident had come from an eyewitness.
An inspection on the fact was organized by the Investigative Department of Committee of Inquiry of the Russian Federation in Rostov region.
The Department of prevention and elimination of emergency situations of Rostov region calls for all the residents of the Don district to be extremely careful and pass round dangerous areas of the streets where snow or big icicles may fall down from the roofs.
