Participants and spectators of "Miss Cherkessk" contest evacuated because of bomb report

Tonight, after anonymous report about a planted bomb, several hundreds of people were evacuated from the building of the Karachay-Cherkessia Drama and Comedy Theatre, where the beauty contest "Miss Cherkessk" was held. However, no bomb was found in the theatre.

"An unidentified woman called the on duty unit and said that an explosive device was planted in the building of the drama theatre," said the spokesman of the MIA of Karachay-Cherkessia. "Militiamen made an urgent evacuation of all the occupants of the building, where at that time the contest "Miss Cherkessk" was on.

"Several floors of the building and all the cellars were examined by dog experts and sappers. No explosive devices were found," said the MIA spokesman.

According to the source, the contest remained unfinished: all the audience was sent home, the "Interfax-South" writes.
