In the village of Baratauli, Georgian rescuers found alive the man considered as missing due to landslides in Adzharia.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that as a result of a natural disaster in Adzharia one person was missing, several houses damaged and roads blocked in the village of the Khuloy, Kedskiy and Shuakhevi Districts.

As stated by Tengiz Tsiskaridze, head of the Adzharia's rescue service, the man was dug out of three-meter-thick ruins. He was rendered medical aid in situ, then hospitalized, the "Georgia Online" reports.

According to his story, four men got lost in the snow; three of them were found relatively quickly, while the search for the fourth one lasted for several hours, the "Rosbalt" writes.

It was reported earlier that more than 200,000 residents of Georgia remained without electricity because of bad weather.

Because of the hurricane, the Ukrainian vessel "Grigory Petrovsky" sank in the marine area of the Poti Port in Western Georgia. Rescuers managed to save all the crew members.
