Investigators want to clarify the cause of Maxim Sychov's death in Rostov-on-Don
As reported today by Yuri Popov, Acting Head of the Investigatory Department for the Rostov Region of the Russian Investigatory Committee, inspectors have appointed a medical examination with the aim to establish the exact cause of death of Maxim Sychov, a student of the Rostov State Construction University (RSCU), who died after being beaten by another student.
Let us remind you that Maxim Sychov died on November 27, 2010, as believed, as a result of the trauma received from his classmate. On December 13, the GUVD of the Rostov Region announced detention of a suspect of the murder - a native of Ingushetia.
According to Mr Popov, the criminal investigation into the death of Maxim Sychov is almost over.
"All the circumstances of the death of the student are in fact established. The investigation possesses evidences of personal hostile relations with the neighbours of the deceased student. But we (investigators) had to appoint a very complex forensic-medical examination, because Maxim had some diseases; and he took a course of treatment. Experts will give a more accurate conclusion on the death reason," said Yuri Popov as quoted by the website "161.ru".
According to his story, there is a difficulty with determining the cause of Sychov's death, because "after receiving his trauma from Kh. Markhiev and address to hospital, for some time he was treated from some other disease."
The outcomes of the forensic examination are expected within two months, as Mr Popov told the "Interfax".
