Domodedovo confirms bomb warning received by telephone

At the Domodedovo Airport, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent received confirmation of the information about the operative actions held in the terminal building and related to the received call about the bomb planted in the airport.

"Yes, indeed, we received a call with a threat about an explosive device planted here. However, the operation of the airport was not disrupted. Everything works normally and under the schedule. We get no information about what the militia does to search the explosive device," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told at the helpdesk of the Domodedovo Airport.

After the call was received, an operative group was formed with participation of power agents and MIA and FSB officers, which is now checking the information received. The group decided not to evacuate the airport; however, all the services of the airport work in the strengthened regime; the work of the airport and the passenger flow are normal.

The local operative services, assisted by explosion experts and dog handlers, are holding a 100-percent examination of all the premises and facilities of the terminal.

The operative group does not exclude that the call had no real threat for those who are in Domodedovo, and may be only an episode of the so-called "telephone terrorism".
